Video Access Policy & Reporting Deadlines

To ensure all practitioners remain in good standing with their respective regulatory bodies, Can-College / CPDHouse provides a structured video access window aligned with your specific professional reporting cycle.

1. Access Duration Based on Reporting Cycles

Access to the video sessions and the secure CPD bundle page will remain available until the conclusion of your current mandatory reporting period. This ensures you have ample time to complete the watch-time requirements and assessments before your filing deadline.

• For Law Society Members (LSO, LSBC, etc.): Video access remains active until December 31 of the current reporting year.

• For CICC Members: Video access remains active until June 30 of the current reporting cycle.

• For International Applicants: Access is generally granted for a period of 12 months from the date of enrollment, or until the specific deadline set by your local regulatory body (please specify your jurisdiction upon registration).

2. "Last-Minute" Compliance Window

We recognize that many professionals complete their requirements in the final weeks of their reporting period. Our servers are optimized for high-volume access during June and December; however, Registrants are encouraged to complete their assessments at least 48 hours before their respective deadlines to ensure smooth certificate generation and to account for any potential technical troubleshooting.

3. Post-Deadline Access Extension

• Standard Extension: Once the reporting deadline has passed (e.g., January 1 for Law Society members), video access will be deactivated to reset the portal for the new calendar year.

• Special Requests: If you have been granted an extension by your Law Society or regulator due to medical or personal leave, please contact our support desk with your official extension letter. We will manually extend your video access to match your new regulatory deadline.

4. Unauthorized Use & Access Security

• Single-User Limitation: Video access is strictly limited to the individual registrant. Our system monitors "Unique Device IDs." Attempting to stream the same video from multiple locations simultaneously will trigger an automatic security lockout.

• No Recording Policy: Registrants are strictly prohibited from using third-party software to record or "rip" video content. Our videos are watermarked with SynthID technology to track unauthorized distribution back to the source account.

Access Instructions Summary

Upon successful payment, an automated email will be sent within 5 minutes. Registrants must check their email account, including the spam/junk folder, for the unique login credentials required to access the video portal.

To ensure a secure and seamless learning experience, CPDHouse.org (operating as P.D.L.E.S. and Canadian Career Education College) utilizes a direct-delivery system for all video-based Continuing Professional Development.

Access Instructions

Upon the successful completion of your registration and payment, your access credentials will be delivered according to the following protocol:

• Automated Email Delivery: You will instantly receive a confirmation email containing step-by-step instructions. This email includes a Secure Access Link and a unique Access Password (Note: This password is case-sensitive and separate from your profile login).

• On-Demand Availability: For most programs, the video is available for immediate viewing. For upcoming live events, the video recording will typically be accessible within 24 business hours of the live presentation.

• No Software Required: Our videos are hosted on a secure, cloud-based streaming platform. You can view your CPD directly in your web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended) without downloading additional software or media players.
