Terms of use and legal disclaimer
These terms apply to every CPD House mock exam, free or paid, on both the CICC and Law Society streams. By registering or accessing the platform you agree to them.
The short version
We are independent. No regulator endorses or is affiliated with these simulations.
Access is verified. Every candidate is checked before the platform opens.
Paid access is non-refundable once opened, because the content is delivered in full at that point.
Extensions are available where you can document a deferred or rescheduled official exam.
Accounts are personal. No sharing, copying, printing or extracting.

1. Who we are, and what this is not
An independent provider. These mock exams and preparation materials are owned and operated by Canadian Career Education College, operating as CPD House. We are an independent educational provider.
No regulator endorsement. Neither the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants nor the Law Society of Ontario nor the Law Society of British Columbia endorses, approves or is affiliated with these simulations. Our simulations are independent study aids and are not the official examinations.
Format, not content. Our platform is built to reproduce the format, pacing and conditions of the official examinations. It does not reproduce official examination questions, and no question in our bank is drawn from a live examination.
No guarantee of outcome. Completing a simulation does not guarantee a pass, and no score here predicts an official result. Your official result depends on the regulator's own marking against its own paper.

2. Access tiers and what each includes
Free trial. 25 questions, three attempts, valid for 15 days from the date your verification is approved. Does not include the Test Day Data Booklet.
Paid tracks. A full-length simulation for your licence class, four attempts, valid for 90 days from the date your verification is approved. Includes the Test Day Data Booklet.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18, have completed an approved programme for your licence class within the qualifying period, and be an active candidate for the examination you are preparing for. We verify all three before granting access, which takes 24 to 48 business hours.
Questions are consistent. The questions do not change between your attempts, so that a change in your score reflects a change in your performance.

3. Payment, refunds and extensions
Non-refundable once opened. Because the simulation and its analytical feedback are delivered to your profile in full the moment you open them, fees are not refundable after the environment has been accessed. This applies whether or not you use all four attempts.
Before you open it. If you have paid but not yet accessed the environment, contact us and we will discuss the position with you.
Extensions. Access periods are not extended automatically. We will extend your access where you supply documentation of an official examination deferral or a later scheduled sitting, from the CICC or from a Law Society. We would rather extend your access than let it expire through a change you did not choose.
Unused attempts. Attempts do not carry over beyond your access period and are not refundable.
Before you open it. If you have paid but not yet accessed the environment, contact us and we will discuss the position with you.

4. Intellectual property, security and academic integrity
Our content is ours. The question banks, simulation engine, study indices, pacing sheets and the Test Day Data Booklet are the intellectual property of Canadian Career Education College operating as CPD House. They are licensed to you for your personal preparation and for nothing else.
Your account is personal. Credentials may not be shared, sold or transferred. Access is granted to a named, verified individual.
No copying or extraction. Recording, screenshotting, printing, transcribing or otherwise extracting questions or materials is not permitted, by any means and for any purpose.
Consequences. Where we identify sharing, copying or extraction, access ends immediately and no refund is given. Where hours or results have been claimed on the basis of that access, we may notify the relevant regulator. For a licensed professional or a licensing candidate, that is a more serious consequence than the loss of the registration, which is why we set it out plainly here rather than leaving it implied.
